How to Create a Company Page on LinkedIn (FREE)
Jan 08, 2021Once upon a time, in a land far, far away (aka, circa 2006 and earlier), we marketers relied upon our website to be the point of destination for internet traffic.
Then, social media was born.
Nowadays, companies are harnessing the power of social media and establishing and maintaining their company presence on a variety of social and professional networking sites.
The great thing about social media is it provides businesses with an "opt-in" audience (for those who like or follow your company page), as well as a way to attract potential future customers who may passively find a link to an article, update, blog, or other news posting linking them back to your LinkedIn company page.
Do you have a LinkedIn company page? You should. The page is FREE and the process for creating a company page is simple:
-
In the upper right hand corner, click the little square with the dots that reads "Work."
-
Scroll down to the bottom of the options and then click "Create a Company Page."
-
Enter your company name.
-
Fill out your company information and click "save."

WHY HAVE A LINKEDIN COMPANY PAGE?
LinkedIn company pages serve as an extension of your website. Websites are great, but only if you have visitors. By having a company page on LinkedIn, you may discover LinkedIn members who "stumble upon" your business and visit your company page.
In addition to having a Facebook company page, I highly suggest you set up a LinkedIn company page today.
